24th of July Fun

The small town of Monticello bursts at the seams when it is the 24th of July.  It is a tradition that can’t be missed! Every year, the state of Utah celebrates the day (July 24, 1847) when the pioneers entered the Salt Lake Valley.  It is a time honored tradition and one that we can’t miss.  Monticello has a parade and the kids line the streets to gather candy.  Then we head over to Pioneer Park for food and fun.  Later in the evening, we head to the football field for fireworks.
