I txt

I never thought I would like texting as much as I do.  It is so easy and quite convenient.  I have been putting off texting for quite awhile.  I would much rather talk than type, but it does have it’s advantages.  Jessica has been texting for awhile, but we never “unlocked” our phones.  Now we are texters.  How easy it is to text a short note to Bill if I can’t get a hold of him on the phone.  Or send a random comment to my brother in California.  It’s great. I read in the Washington Post recently that a 15 year old girl had sent out over 6000 text messages in one month!  Luckily, her family has unlimited texting.  I won’t ever get to the point that I am texting more than I am talking.  It reminds me of an episode of the kids’ show, Yo Gabba Gabba.  One of the characters didn’t want to try something so the other characters sang a song that went something like this…. Try it you’ll like it, Try it. You’re gonna like it.  Then after the character tries what he didn’t want to, he sings I tired it and I liked it. I tried it and now I like it.  That’s me and texting.

  1. Yes texting is fun and quick…total instant gratification not unlike Facebooking…which might I am you are not on….come on try it, try it, you’re gonna like it 🙂

  2. Welcome to the world of technological enlightenemnt! Texting is pretty much the only way I can get a hold of my kids these days. Heaven forbid that they ever actually answered their phones when I call!

  3. I am now wondering if I could text with all the words shortened or in some strange code? Maybe I am too new to all this technology and find the old ways easier for me:).
We haven’t opened our texting on the phones yet. Your Dad would probably never use it.
